Have you ever struggled with on-going communication problems with your infant, toddler, preschooler, dual language learner or a special needs child just to name a few? If you answered yes, I may be of some help. As an ASL Instructor I offer part time services for child care centers, schools, and parents with lessons on effective communication through sign language. Sign language is a great way to help support children communicate before the acquisition of verbal skills is in place. Sign language doesn’t stop the speech development process. Sign language only provides support to help bridge the communication gap between child and adult. Sign language has great benefits; this language will improve education, vocabulary, and communication skills.

Benifits of Signing
Signing with children enhances all children’s learning and communication abilities.
When children learn a second language early in life, it makes learning additional languages easier.
Signing has been proven to enhance motor coordination, reading skills and writing skills.
It also enables infants to communicate their pre-verbal wants and needs.
It’s a fun activity that brings you and your child closer together.
